Southern Dunes is a gated community situated south of Orlando and offers guests an abundance of leisure facilities, which include an 18 hole 4 star PGA championship golf course. There is also a Country Club which offers a reasonably priced restaurant and bar - families are very welcome. There is a community pool, 2 tennis courts, lake fishing, gym facilities and a children's play area.

In addition, there are excellent shopping facilities right at the entrance to Southern Dunes, including a 24 hour Walmart hypermarket, numerous restaurants and take-aways (some of which deliver) and medical facilities within 5 minutes.

Southern Dunes is not only an excellent base for visiting the attractions of Orlando with Disney and Universal Studios only being a short drive away, but it is also conveniently located for many other amenities including International Drive, Shopping Malls, Cypress Gardens and a multi screen cinema within 15 minutes.

The beaches of the east or west coast are within easy reach - Clearwater beaches are 90 minutes away and beach is about 1 hour, making Southern Dunes an ideal base for any type of holiday.
